Grad 2010

It's been a while since I've done any portrait sessions, but that's only one of the reasons that I jumped at it when I was asked to do this one - despite the fact that I'm 9 mo's pregnant :)

Last year, I did grad portraits for my cousin, LG. This year, it was his girlfriends turn... and I'd been hoping she'd asked me to do hers too. Seriously, when your shooting someone as pretty and photogenic as she is, it hardly seems like "work".

As usual, I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites - but here are a few that caught my eye right off the bat.

Maternity Photos

Grumpy and Granny came over for a visit on Sunday afternoon and Grumpy took some Maternity pictures of our happy little family. I finished up the editing last night, so now I get to share :)

Noodle vs Slapshot

We're getting down to the wire now... just 3.5 weeks till my due date - and as far as I'm concerned, Noodle can't come join us soon enough.

On the 1st of the month, Mister took a belly snapshot. Here it is, compared to my belly snapshot from when I was pregnant with Slapshot.

Maternity Leave

Today is my last day of work before starting Maternity/Parental leave. A few weeks ago, one of my co-workers left this on my desk for me and I've been waiting for today to post it... it's just perfect!

Flashback Friday - Maternity Photos

It's getting to be that time again... almost time to take maternity photos of our growing family. A friend was asking about "Slapshot"'s photos the other day and I realised that I'd never posted them here on the blog. What better day than a Flashback Friday? Here are a few of my favorites - all taken by Grumpy back in November of 2007.

Noodle vs Slapshot

It's time to play a little catch-up with the belly pictures. And I really need to get my behind in gear and stop slacking off when it comes to blogging!

Mister bought me a point 'n shoot camera for Mother's Day this year, so I'm hoping that the quick/easy snapshots will prompt me to post more often without feeling the need to edit/tweak the images like I do when I shoot with my SLR. I'll stick with the SLR for portrait (etc) work, and use the PnS for day-to-day snapshots... especially after Noodle arrives.

Anyhoo... I didn't post a belly photo last month, so here are the pictures from April 1st and May 1st.

And comparatively, here are the images from month 6 and 7 when Tadpole was still Slapshot.
